Liquid cooling, due to its high thermal conductivity, is widely used in battery thermal management systems. This paper first introduces thermal management of lithium-ion batteries and liquid-cooled BTMS.

Air cooling thermal management systems have advantages such as reliability as well as simplicity [ 24 ], but due to the low thermal conductivity of air, the amount of heat it can consume is limited [ 25 ].
