Is there any reason to ever get service done by Tesla then? All you need to do is get the brake fluid checked occasionally and rotate the tires.

The battery technology is the same. Only M3 is different. This only applies to newer vehicles. Older vehicles need the coolant replaced. At my last service Tesla said they no longer replace the battery coolant on any vehicle. They have replaced the coolant on mine in the past. Not due again for quite some time.
